A North Carolina high school junior painted "Freedom 1776" and "Live Like Kirk—John 11:25" on her school's spirit rock as a tribute to the assassinated @charliekirk11.
Within hours, officials painted it over, accused her of "vandalism," launched an investigation, and pulled her out of class to surrender her phone logs.
The school quietly closed the investigation with no apology—then claimed they never accused her at all.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg school district just paid $95,000 to settle the @ADFLegal lawsuit.
