My only issue with max speed being taken away (and seemingly not coming back) is the solution does not exist yet. FSD routinely misreads speed limits or is plagued with bad map data - resulting in scenarios where disengaging FSD is literally the only solution to keep the car from speeding in an area. Or the inverse happens and the car thinks the speed is too low and there’s no speed profile that will cause the car to drive an appropriate speed. I imagine in time these problems will be solved, but right now they are problems - which is why I do not fully understand the need to remove max speed.
