Absolutely nothing is happening on Base right now. @cobie is running @baseapp My thesis is that this chain is insanely dry. Sentiment is at an all-time low, and Brian completely killed it. If @base wants to compete at all, they need to push a meme. The easiest narrative is to copy the RH model: send one coin insanely high, and in the current market, a cat is probably the easiest thing to send. There’s such a hunger for anything on Base that the community alone could probably push it to 3–5M without any help from Base. But Base has an easy job, all they need to do is post a Basecat meme once in a while. Then we’re talking 20–30M mcap, and who knows, maybe higher. As of now, there’s no X community, no official account - nothing - and people are still accumulating. I assume they have a similar thesis to mine.
