Simple Mode strips the interface back to the conversation without taking away what Hermes can actually do. It tucks away the terminal, files, review panes, status bar, technical tool output and other developer machinery. Switch back to Advanced and your full workspace returns exactly as you left it. The Layout Editor goes a lot deeper than Simple vs Advanced too: → Default, Basic, Focus, Terminal deck and Quad layouts → Build your own custom grid → Split, merge and resize zones → Drag panes between zones → Save your own layouts as reusable templates Clean when you want it. Full cockpit when you don’t.
