Pakistani national Abbas Ali Haider appeared in court for the first time after being extradited from Mexico. He’s charged with conspiring to smuggle Pakistani nationals into the United States using sham film production companies as his front. The companies fraudulently sponsored work visas for aliens while charging them up to $40,000 for the fraud sponsorship and customs coaching.
