$SOFI Management has done an amazing job growing the business in a environment that favored bankruptcy. The past few administrations have been unbelievably destructive. Starting with an unreasonably long process to obtain the bank charter, then having the crypto business killed only to be allowed to bring it back, covid policy with helicopter money and zero interest rates, the absolute destruction of the student loan business(massive debt forgiveness) , followed with sticky inflation (caused by government spending) war and high rates. I've begun to realize the headwinds will never stop. Our government is against the prosperity of its people and will remain destructive. They will continue to take bribes, go on extended vacation, read bills only after they pass, vote the opposite of their campaign promises, trade stocks with insider knowledge, and enrich themselves. There will be an inflection point where SOFI will be large enough that they will prosper in any conditions. To some degree they already are. I no longer hope things will change to benefit SOFI. I hope that SOFI can continue to push harder, go faster, and win anyway. I believe in Noto.
