The network will double its annual disinflation rate from 15% to 30%, hitting the 1.5% long-term inflation target by 2029 instead of 2032 and cutting roughly 18.9M SOL from issuance over six years. Drama of the day: Kraken voted against mid-count and nearly sank it before flipping at the last minute. Less dilution for holders, lower staking rewards for validators.
