Spent some time going through the 2026 Global Payments Report from @Worldpay_Global there’s a lot in there, but as someone building in payments, the part i keep coming back to is how local payment infrastructure is starting to become global payment apps are expected to reach 46% of global POS value by 2030, or $15.6T at the same time, UPI, Pix, Alipay and other local payment systems are starting to cross borders, i think this changes how we should think about global payments the world probably isn't going to settle on one universal payment method. every market has spent years building rails around its own consumers, banks, regulations and habits. what's happening now is that those rails are starting to connect. that's what “glocalization” means to me, a business can be global while the way its customers pay remains local building the infrastructure that connects those two worlds is a big part of why we're building @crediblefin and the Open Payment Stack and honestly, the more markets we get into, the more convinced i am that this is the right way to think about payments
