Kayhan, a newspaper aligned with the Iranian regime, used its editorial today to call for halting energy trade and driving up U.S. fuel prices ahead of the midterm elections as a way to "restrain Trump." The paper argued that keeping the Strait of Hormuz closed and cutting off oil dollars is the only method that works on Washington, writing that the key to curbing "the gambler from the White House" lies not in negotiations but in raising America's economic costs before the vote.
