The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced new rules for the Oscars.
>Starting with the 2027 ceremony, screenplays must be written entirely by humans to be eligible for awards.
>Only performances clearly done by real human actors, with their full consent and proper credit, can receive acting nominations.
>Filmmakers may still use AI tools to help create movies. However, the Academy will judge the human contribution when deciding winners.
>They reserve the right to ask for details about any AI used in a film.
