Ubisoft has revealed that Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Resynced removes the loading screens that originally separated naval exploration from city areas, allowing players to seamlessly sail into locations like Havana without interruptions.
The studio says modern hardware made the transition-free world possible.
Key improvements confirmed for the remake include:
- Seamless transitions between naval gameplay and cities
- Enhanced ocean physics and dynamic weather systems
- “Follow Sea” autopilot sailing for long voyages
- New Pathfinder navigation assistance feature
- Expanded naval forts and regional conquest mechanics
- All original sea shanties returning alongside new additions
