He says the original Uncharted is still playable today, so there isn’t much reason to remake it. He also thinks a remake would need to change too much of the original: “You’d have to rewrite the whole story to make it better, which means you’re going to change the spirit.” Russell wants to see Naughty Dog make a new Uncharted game, possibly set earlier in Nathan Drake’s life: “Take the lessons of Uncharted 4 and make a new game that’s in the past or wherever you need it to be.”
