The service sold AI voice packs and used Genshin character images, animations and dialogue clips to promote them. The company argued that the voices were AI-generated, but the court found that the voices were closely tied to Genshin’s characters and were being used commercially without authorization. The court also found the provider used about 1minute of Genshin audio for AI train that were essentially the same as the original character voices.
