This is one of the worst sales I’ve ever seen Anthropic’s last official round was priced at a $380B valuation. Buidlpad is offering an entry point at a $950B valuation. That is a massive 250% premium on a real company valuation from just three months ago. On top of that, the Subscription Fee is 20% upfront. If you commit $10,000, only $8,000 actually goes toward the deal. The launchpad pockets $2,000 immediately. Add another 20% Carry (performance fee on profits), and this isn't even standard venture terms (the classic 2/20) it’s a straight-up robbery of their loyal audience. Furthermore, Anthropic has not authorized or approved this offer, they know nothing about it and Buidlpad doesn't even hold any actual shares. You are literally buying a derivative of a derivative. By the way, even if you do decide to overpay by 250% and cough up a 20% fee, you’re still facing a 180-day lockup post-IPO, plus at least another 180 days just for the settlement process. While everyone else is actively trading the stock, you’ll just be sitting around waiting to actually receive your shares. This sale is an absolute joke.
