Combat-injured veterans have been forced to forfeit part of the retirement pay they earned simply because they also receive VA disability compensation for injuries sustained in combat. Washington has been nickel-and-diming veterans who put their lives on the line for ours. Enough is enough. It's time to bring the Major Richard Star Act to the floor and let Congress vote.
