German inflation is heating again: headline CPI rose to 2.9% YoY in Aug from 2.8% in Jul, below the expected 3%, while core inflation held at 2.4%. The culprit is energy, up 10.5% YoY, while services eased to 2.8% from 2,9%, food from 0.4% to 0.1%.
