That’s why we developed Cabin Radar – a 4D imaging sensor that requires little power & can detect respiration through organic non-metallic occlusions (such as car seats). Cabin Radar first row sensing comes standard on New Model Y & Model 3 + @Cybertruck & will be enabled on 2022+ Model Y via OTA update. In addition, Child Presence Detection will soon be rolled out to all vehicles (also via OTA update)
