Announcement: $ACORNS - $NUTKIN Fork and Adderrels Collection The Squirrels community has created NUTKIN, a 1:1 fork of ACORNS that excludes founder tokens, and has claimed control of the Adderrels Collection. We deeply respect the resilience and strength of the Squirrels community. Many communities would have disappeared after facing such hardship. Instead, the Squirrels community continues to build and move forward. BiS recognizes $NUTKIN as a strong partner in the 2.0 ecosystem and will support the community in every way possible. $NUTKIN Fork Details: As communicated from the @yuzodotxyz team, they’ve identified and excluded all tokens held by Tom from the NUTKIN airdrop. All other ACORNS holders received NUTKIN tokens at a 1:1 ratio. 20% of the total supply is allocated to incentivize liquidity providers. BiS will soon provide the smart contracts and interfaces needed for trustless liquidity mining. In addition to the 20% of NUTKIN supply allocated for LPs, LP contributors will also qualify for future platform rewards. The Squirrels community is already taking action, with approximately 2.2 BTC (~$200k USD) already added to the liquidity pool. For full transparency: BiS Treasury held 4.5% of ACORNS tokens. After the fork, we now hold 4.5% of NUTKIN supply. We will manage these tokens responsibly and in support of long-term ecosystem health. We are appreciative of community leaders @wangjinlon27301, @BRC_20oula, @sagechainx, the Ningbo, Zhoushan, Wenzhou Xingxing communities, the Yuzo team for their exceptional analysis and dev work, and many others for their tireless constructive efforts. Regarding the Founder & Auction Funds: The project founder is no longer communicating with BiS, the project team, or the community. Onchain analysis by the community shows that Tom has liquidated BTC from the auction — funds that belonged to the LP pool — on an Australian CEX. BiS is addressing this matter through proper legal channels and pursuing accountability. Community members may also pursue their own legal options independently. Those who wish to explore their rights can contact us for referral to experienced counsel handling fraud and collective action cases. This counsel has access to the project owner's information for legal proceedings. We will continue pursuing justice and fairness for the community, in line with the original ethos of the crypto space.
