I’m still so sad all my DALL-E 2 images are gone.
Things were moving so fast at the time I forgot to save them not thinking they’d vanish.
DALL-E 2 really was special. I used it heavily between '22-23 and it was the model that made shooting in latent space click for me. I was so disappointed when DALL-E 3 came out (felt like a pivot toward MJ's colorful emptiness at the time). I still miss 2's painterly realism
