a week ago I bought a 1:1
@Quotrons404 NFT for $10k, and people thought I was insane
now it’s generating roughly $4,400/day in fee distributions
the first $10k earned back took about 7.5 days. the second $10k earned back took only 2.25 days.
as $Quotron volume and ecosystem utilization ramps up, distributions (payments to nft's) scale directly. We've seen significant but subtle support by other big market players already on twitter and elsewhere, but my inclination is this will grow significantly. There is a very real universe where this single terminal recoups its original purchase price every 24 hours in the not too distant future - perhaps as soon as a week or two.
but in my opinion the actual asymmetry right now is with the floor NFT's, not just the 1:1's. The cheapest Quotrons NFTs are wildly mispriced relative to their cash flow imo.
if we assume no growth whatsoever after today with the project, this is the math:
floor price: ~$5,000
daily payout: ~$16/d ($5,840/y)
APR: ~117% (0.85x P/E ratio)
time to pay back: 10 months
typically in defi standard real-yield assets on high-beta platforms (like quotrons) trade around 15%–35% APR. At current static volume alone - that is, without any growth at all - the floor is fundamentally undervalued by 3x–4x and the floor NFTs should trade closer to $15k–$20k just on yield parity
but what if the growth continues?
as I said earlier, we can see from various tweets and connections that the growth of this project is unlikely to stay static - and given that fee distributions scale 1:1 with volume, neither should the value of the NFTs. If Quotrons continues the trajectory seen over the last week and a half, we get these numbers for fair future value quite soon:
10x vol = $160/d per floor nft
ARR = $58,400/y
time to pay back = 31 days
each nft at the floor right now could, with conditions that do not seem absurd at all to me right now, end up generating $58k+/year, in other words
we're entering into an expanding cycle in crypto it seems, so the reality is that these numbers I'm posting could be dwarfed by reality. there could also be a black swan that makes growth stop entirely. but although I currently own a number of quotron nfts and tokens, I'm looking myself to expand my collection, with the expectation of a meaningful multiple on that investment - similar to what I got a week and a half ago when people thought I was ridiculous for paying $10k in the first place.
dyor as always, and good luck
