I was at a restaurant yesterday when a woman at the next table suddenly asked her boyfriend,
“Can I see your phone?”
He handed it to her immediately.
She opened his messages.
Scrolled for maybe ten seconds.
Then handed it back.
“Thank you.”
He looked confused.
“What were you looking for?”
She smiled and said,
“Nothing.”
“I just wanted to know if you'd hand it to me without asking why.”
He laughed.
