Early impressions of Instinct vs Grok Bot: - Onboarding on Grok Bot is much smoother. Instinct can't set up MCP servers yet, for example. - For coding, the ability to send background agents to Cursor and manage via bots make it more of an "everything" tool - Instinct is much more clear and direct in language and currently is nicer and easier to chat to. - Instinct seems more pro-active than Grok. Without prompting it checked on my flight yesterday, told me it was delayed, updated me when the gate was announced and this morning did a daily brief of my inbox. Grok needs a lot more nudging to keep checking. - I am torn between loving having a bunch of bots for different roles vs the overwhelm of seeing them and just dealing with the one bot. I think I am quite single-threaded by nature so prefer one bot to manage others without me seeing them If you plan to do a lot of coding, Grok is a great choice, but I could see Instinct being a better organizer and general "Chief of Staff". Will keep testing.
