So are folks really hiring less humans now?
@ICONIQCapital has the latest data:
- Folks growing > 100% a year are adding 133% headcount a year. They aren't cutting humans, even as they invest the most in AI
Everyone else is ... growing headcount more slowly than revenue
- Folks growing 50%-100% a year (still reasonably fast by pre-AI standards) are adding 25% headcount
- Folks growing 25%-50% only adding 10% headcount
- Folks growing < 25% a year aren't adding any headcount at all
