𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗪𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 Before you start reading, I want to share something personal. Some time ago, my old X account was suspended. Looking back, it was probably because I spent far too much time reposting instead of creating. Toward the end of last year, I started over with this account. At first, I honestly had no idea what I was doing. I didn't know how to write threads. I didn't know how to tell stories. Creating content was never part of the plan. Then I found Abstract. I stayed because of the people. Little by little, reading builders, creators and community members changed the way I looked at writing. Today, I'm cleaning up my profile by deleting most of my older posts. That even includes my 𝗔𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲. Some parts mysteriously disappeared over time anyway, so I'd rather repost the entire series in the right order. If you've already read parts of it, thank you for sticking with me. Sorry if you'll have to see some of it again. I want this profile to reflect who I am today, not who I was when I was still figuring things out. For the first time, I genuinely feel like I've found my own style. Hopefully X doesn't mistake that cleanup for bot behavior and suspend this account too. I don't think I have the energy to build a third profile. There are communities we never choose. The town where we are born. The school that shapes our earliest memories. They become part of us long before we understand what belonging means. Then the internet changed the rules. For the first time in history, people could choose where they belonged. Not physically. Emotionally. Every follow became a small decision. Every conversation became a doorway. Every community became a place someone entered voluntarily. That's a remarkable shift. Because belonging has always been one of the rarest things humans search for. We usually spend years looking for places where we feel understood. Sometimes we find them in cities. Or in friendships. Now, we find them online. The strange thing is that nobody remembers joining a community. There isn't a single defining moment. Nobody wakes up one morning thinking — "This place feels like home now." It happens quietly. A familiar username appears again. A creator whose work you always stop to read. Someone celebrates your success before you've even had time to celebrate it yourself. A joke only the community understands. Without realizing it, strangers become familiar. Then familiar becomes normal. Eventually, leaving feels stranger than staying. The technology was the first thing that impressed me. I honestly thought it would also be the thing I'd remember most. I was wrong. The people quietly took that place. Like everyone else, I started by exploring the ecosystem. Soon, I stopped asking what I should try next. I started asking what everyone else was talking about. That's how I found Moody. And Tollan. Not through an algorithm. Through people. One recommendation naturally led to another. Over time, Abstract stopped feeling like separate applications. It became one connected experience. Not because every project was similar. Because the same people kept moving between them. Builders, creators and players constantly crossed paths. That's when I realized something. Technology connects wallets. People build communities. And that's what I've come to appreciate the most. When I look back, I won't remember every quest. I won't remember every badge. I'll remember the conversations. The people who inspired me to become better. Those are the moments that stayed with me. Maybe that's the real achievement. Not building software. Building a place people genuinely enjoy returning to. Eventually you stop opening Abstract just to see what's new.
