83% of XBT hashrate now mines with DATUM. Each miner builds its own blocks, so a pool operator can't point that hashrate at an attack.
Worst 51% attack case: every non-DATUM pool operator colludes (or gets coerced). Together they control 17%. That's the ceiling.
Total Network hashrate -> 35.1 PH/s
To reach 51%, they'd still have to:
• buy 24 PH/s of new ASICs (69% of today's network), or
• Seize by force or voluntarily convince 41% of all DATUM hash from independent miners
And decentralization compounds... if DATUM miners act independently, the odds of seizing or convincing enough of them fall exponentially as more miners join. Every home miner makes the wall taller. 🏠⛏️
