Especially in the age of social media, young people are constantly comparing themselves to an impossible version of perfection and wondering why they don’t measure up. None of us looks in the mirror every day and sees exactly what we wish we saw. That discomfort is part of being human. Our job should be to help children build confidence in who they are, not teach them that changing their bodies is the answer. We should be raising children to value themselves, their bodies, and the gifts God gave them.
