I’m a windows guy. And not windows the operating system, but windows in my home/work environment. Over the years I’ve learned I work the best when I have two things: 1. Windows with natural light 2. A view through those windows of a forest or mountains, NOT the side of a house or building This is why working at coffee shops never really does it for me, and also why a lot of offices in SF and NYC are a no-go, since their windows often just look at the side of another building. In my house, and in picking this house, really optimized for windows with forest and mountain views. While I work most of the time at my standing desk, looking at the mountains, I love this little alcove off the bedroom. This is one of the many reasons why you’ll never see me working in an office, I need my windows, and my views!
