The problems of unbounded stake growth and dilution have been known for years. IMHO (as a home staker and supporter of Ethereum), EIP-8361 is a minimal, market-driven response. Regardless of your position, I encourage everyone to engage seriously with the reasons and justifications behind this proposal rather than reacting viscerally and attacking the contributors for raising a difficult but important subject.
