Nicki 🫧🪷(@nickimoraa):My salary was supposed to arrive on Friday. It didn’t. I checked my bank account. Nothing. I contacted payroll. They said: “Your salary was deposited yesterday.” I showed them my account. They pulled up the payment confirmation. It showed my full salary. Correct name. Correct employee number. Correct bank. Everything matched. I called my bank. They couldn’t find the payment. Payroll said the bank was responsible. The bank said payroll hadn’t sent it. Neither side would admit there was a problem. Then I noticed something on the payroll document. The account number was mine. But the last four digits were different. I pointed it out. Payroll checked their system.
