Our goal at DoorDash has always been to build local commerce to reflect the communities we serve. It’s encouraging to see someone actually study our audiences of consumers, merchants and Dashers and publish some of these myth busters, including this one: “Americans don’t consider the service a luxury. Forty-five percent of DoorDash customers said they had a household income below $75,000. That’s the same proportion as the U.S. population as a whole in 2024, according to the Census Bureau.”
