The Iron Age Meryans they found at Dyakovo were 11-12% Asian, which suggests the original Kalevites had a similar percentage before Baltic contact. Then in Finland the Sami admix drives it up again in a gradient, since Easterners and Kuusamo dwellers have more Sami than Satakunta-Varsinais-Häme.
