I know the straightforward answer to this question from both American and Canadian first-hand military sources but I can’t reveal it as it’s extremely inconvenient.
Asked who would win in a hypothetical war between Canada and the U.S., @Gladwell tells @JeffreyGoldberg that Canada would prevail “because all of the American troops invade Canada, and then realize that they want to stay.”
