What is Midnight? Midnight (@MidnightNtwrk) officially launched its mainnet in March 2026 after years of development by Input Output. Midnight is designed to bring programmable privacy and zero-knowledge technology to the Cardano (@Cardano) ecosystem. Unlike Cardano, Midnight runs its own ledger, consensus mechanism and smart contract environment.
