Featured App applications go through the Tokenomics Committee, and require a detailed breakdown covering how the app interacts with the ledger, its reward mechanics, and expected scale, once you're within two weeks of MainNet launch.

Featured App status on Canton isn't limited to only large institutions.
Per the Foundation's own process, any application within two weeks of production can begin the request.
The application goes to the Tokenomics Committee for review, and applicants may be asked to join a live call to demo the app directly to the committee.
