Gate Reached 8.1% of RWA Perp Volume in August Gate cleared $64.8B of RWA perp volume in August, taking 8.1% of the market, up from 2.6% in June. That ranked first in terms of growth and third among CEXs. The increase built steadily through the summer. Weekly volume rose from $2.4B in early June to a record $20.7B in the week of Aug. 17, an 8.6x increase. Two contracts drove much of that activity. SanDisk and SK hynix accounted for 64% of Gate’s August volume. Across all 19 venues, Gate handled 16.5% of SanDisk volume and 14.2% of SK hynix volume, both well above its 8.1% share of the overall RWA perp market. Gate also listed 405 RWA tickers in August, the most of any venue, while 88% of its volume still came from the top 10 contracts. Full report 👇
