Pharaoh never wanted to let the Israelites go.
But he hesitated b/c of the plagues that devastated his people.
When God hardened pharaoh’s heart, he toughened pharaoh to do what he truly willed in the first place.
So how is pharaoh’s will overruled by God’s intervention?

How is it that Pharoah made a real choice here (unwilling) while God was hardening his heart if choice = free will?
