Dr Singularity(@Dr_Singularity):Small minded people are ridiculing this claim by saying global GDP is only ~$126 trillion. That's correct, that's the size of the global economy TODAY. In the (near) future, in a post ASI/Singularity world, global GDP will be 100's - 1000's x larger. In that world, $30 trillion will be peanuts. Post ASI hyperdeflation may change the nominal dollar figure, but we'll be able to calculate the equivalent of $30 trillion of today’s dollars. I'm not claiming Anthropic will reach that $30 trillion goal, or that it will even exist in its current form by the 2030s. But an AGI/ASI company deeply involved in ASI medicine, AI engineering and other ASI powered industries could easily be generating $10's of trillions in economic value. So the question is not, if $30T is possible soon, but who will be the first, OpenAI?, Anthropic?, SpaceX?, Google? Chinese AI giant?, or some new player than don't even exist at the moment. Think bigger. The future will be much bigger than 2026.
