Alright, first college game experience done. We definitely made some beginner mistakes, like arriving way too late for tailgating (sorry to everyone whose tailgate we didn’t make it to). Staying 50 minutes away from the college town probably wasn’t our best idea either.
Definitely something we need to do better next game. Other than that, it was quite a surreal experience. I don’t really know what I can compare it to. It’s completely different from European sports culture. It’s really just a big party the whole day. In Germany, we don’t have university sports, so seeing how huge it is here is quite hard to comprehend.
Can’t wait for the next game next week already!
