I chaired a meeting of The Executive Council of Dubai, where we approved the Urban Centres Development Plan, with investments exceeding AED2 billion to build integrated communities that support sustainable growth and meet people’s aspirations. The Plan will contribute to an increase in the real estate value of the targeted centres by AED20 billion. The Plan focuses on 3 key priorities: quality of life, economic returns, and infrastructure and cost efficiency. It also aims to increase the proportion of residents living around metro stations to 74% and raise public services coverage to 85%. We also approved the Sustainable Population Planning Policy to align economic and population growth and guide the development of services based on Dubai’s future needs, as well as the Digital Authorisation System to deliver a unified, trusted government experience that meets the needs of residents and businesses. Dubai continues to advance ambitious development projects. Our goal remains to create greater opportunities, improve quality of life for the people of Dubai and build a better future for generations to come.
