Everyone keeps talking about a TradeXYZ airdrop like it was ever promised.
It wasn’t.
Neither TradeXYZ nor Hyperliquid Labs has promised an airdrop, so why has the narrative suddenly become:
Airdrop = good
No airdrop = betrayal
That makes no sense.
Since TGE, Jeff and the Hyperliquid team have consistently shown that they think several moves ahead. They’ve built around long-term alignment, not short-term hype.
If there is a distribution, I expect it to be structured in a way that strengthens the ecosystem rather than simply creating free exit liquidity.
And if there isn’t one, that doesn’t mean HYPE holders were “let down.”
The real bull case was never an airdrop.
The bet is on Jeff, Hyperliquid Labs, and their ability to keep compounding value for HYPE holders.
If Tradexyz airdrops a token other than Hype, Hype goes down
If HL airdrops Hype token to Tradexyz users Hype will go down cause those traders will take the free money
If both of them dont airdrop anything Hype will go down because the community will be furious.
What is the argument for Hype going up right now ?
