Two days ago (Tuesday), the IDF struck in northern Gaza and eliminated the terrorist Sharif Shadi Ibrahim Labad, a Nukhba terrorist in Hamas’ military wing. The terrorist infiltrated through the Erez Crossing during the October 7 Massacre, advanced terror attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops, and operated to restore Hamas’ terror capabilities, in systematic violation of the ceasefire. He was eliminated to remove the threat he posed. Prior to the strike, measures were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance. The IDF is aware of reports indicating that an uninvolved individual was harmed as a result of the strike. The IDF regrets any harm to uninvolved individuals and makes every effort to minimize such harm. The incident is under review.
