The company confirmed it after publicly calling it "a normal infrastructure problem." Nextcloud uses Wordpress (ring a bell? wp2shell?). Users saw nextcloud[.]com links redirect to "Cloudbox" on Sunday evening before the site went dark. Nextcloud says only the website is affected, with no impact on updates, downloads or customers, and is restoring it from a backup. European governments are currenlty trying to move away from M365 to Nextcloud.
