Joint Statement by the PM's Office the Ministry of Defense and IDF Home Front Command Prime Minister's Office:
The expanded Northern Shield project is launching; pursuant to a government decision, the project will be expanded to communities within a range of up to 9 km from the Lebanese border. The system is expected to open for residents to submit applications on 15 September 2026.
