Yesterday @redstone_defi hosted The Tokenization Table, the inaugural event of the new blockchain vertical at the @NYTechAlliance. This was meant to be a hyperfocused gathering of professionals in onchain finance, bringing together ~50 senior leaders from both TradFi and DeFi in an effort to build a strong community around tokenization and onchain financial use cases. What we're working toward: • Solving the remaining challenges holding tokenization back that need industry-wide solutions • Expanding education and adoption to retail and commercial users • Creating a recurring, yet high-quality gathering for people building onchain. This can include workshops, open and closed events, online educational material, and more. The evening included: • Kicking off with a fireside chat with our surprise guest, Robert Leshner (@rleshner), CEO of @SuperstateInc • We set the table through a presentation on The State of Tokenization which also pointed out remaining gaps • A panel featuring Chris Brodersen @cpbrodersen (@EisnerAmper Advisory Group), Ruben Khadiullin @RKhadi (@Cordaxyz), and @DavidWysoki1 (Wall Street Blockchain Alliance @WallStreetBTC) covering a wide breadth of topics thanks to their various areas of expertise • Networking over wine and canapés Thank you to all our speakers for sharing your POV across different areas of expertise.
