This is another POWER THREAD. Basically what this preprint shows is what I've been suspecting all along: during/post SARS-CoV-2 infection, EBV reprograms B cells in an autoimmune-like fashion that closely resembles the reprogramming in SLE and MS. Most people carry EBV, by the way. The paper's findings are consistent with the known association between SARS-CoV-2 infection and EBV reactivation. Basically, the reprogrammed EBV+ B cells overstimulate nearby immune cells, which is linked to higher levels of self-attacking antibodies, abnormal blood fats, and lingering post-acute symptoms - i.e., features of “long COVID”. Guess what SARS-CoV-2 and the shots have in common? VAERS seems to be emitting safety signals. Normalized rates are shown below.
