I went to a screening of Re-Animator at the Overlook Film Festival and the audience treated it like it was a Farrelly Brothers comedy.
Had to leave the TIFF press screening of “Possible Love” because every mildly amusing line was treated like a punchline in a studio comedy. Truly embarrassing. If this is how the next generation of critics read drama/melodrama we’re doomed.
