A major evolution of ORE mining is here.
Parimutuel SOL payouts are now removed, making mining easier to model, plan and scale.
Miners can now calculate costs before deploying and estimate returns with greater confidence. SOL no longer moves from losing miners to winning miners. Instead, miners receive their deployed SOL back minus protocol and admin fees. If a tile does not win, 89% of the deployment is returned.
ORE rewards remain variable, but the cost of mining becomes more predictable.
