LVMPD(@LVMPD):Las Vegas Ten-13 Remembrance Today, members of the Las Vegas community gathered at Police Memorial Park for a solemn September 11 memorial hosted by the City of Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Ten-13 Club. Surrounded by memorials honoring law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice, we reflected on the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the courage, sacrifice, and resilience that emerged in the days and years that followed. The Ten-13 Club, made up of retired NYPD officers and retired law enforcement officers from agencies across the country, continues to help keep the memory of this day alive. As we mark 25 years, we remember and honor those who were taken from us. Never forgotten.
