🇦🇺 Australia is officially kicking fully AI-made songs off its music charts. Starting this week, songs made entirely by AI won’t be allowed on the ARIA Charts, which track the country’s most popular music. Artists can still use AI as a tool, but the song itself needs to be mostly made by humans. The change comes after DJ Josh Fawaz’s cover of Madonna’s “Like a Prayer” blew up Down Under. It became the most-played song on local radio and hit No. 4 on two ARIA charts, while some producers accused him of using AI without disclosing it. Fawaz later admitted using AI “as a tool” and said his focus was simply making good music. AI can help, it just can’t do the whole job. Source: Reuters / Writer: Daniyal
