🇨🇳 China's stock market keeps sinking, so Beijing's latest fix is to tell companies to STOP going public. Regulators have quietly told banks to pause new listings and major share sales until the market recovers. The goal is to stop new offerings from draining money away from stocks that are already falling. China's main index plunged 8.5% in October, its worst month in over a decade. It's down about 14% this year, while the S&P 500 is up 10%. State funds buying shares, restrictions on selling, cheap loans for buybacks. Beijing has tried just about everything, and the slide STILL hasn't stopped. It's the financial version of “nobody leaves the room until it's fixed.” Source: FT / Writer: Julie
